You DON'T want to miss this!

 

Great news! JCPS now has district-wide access to Brisk Teaching, your own AI teaching assistant that can help support differentiation in your classroom, create supplemental instructional materials, as well as, provide clear, specific and timely feedback for your students! 


Here’s how to get started: 
Before You Begin
  • You must be signed into Chrome with your school-issued JCPS Google Account.
  • You cannot install extensions in Incognito mode or as a Guest.
✅ Part 1 — Install the Brisk Teaching Chrome Extension
Open Google Chrome.
Navigate to the Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com
In the search bar, type “Brisk Teaching” and press Enter.
Click the extension named Brisk Teaching from the results.
Click Add to Chrome.
When prompted to confirm permissions, click Add extension.
Chrome will install the extension and show a confirmation message.

Part 2 — Pin Brisk to Your Chrome Toolbar
In the top-right corner of Chrome, click the Extensions icon (puzzle-piece shape).
A dropdown list of installed extensions will appear. Find Brisk Teaching.
Click the pushpin icon next to Brisk Teaching.
The pushpin will turn solid, and the Brisk icon will appear on your main toolbar.

Part 3 — Confirm Brisk Is Ready to Use
Click the Brisk Teaching icon on your toolbar.
Brisk will open in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
If your school has premium licensing, you should see the banner: “Brisk Schools and Districts”
Your extension is now ready! You can use Brisk on:
Google Docs
Google Slides
Websites
Articles
And most online text
